Enrolment Details

Finances

At GCBI North, we have been able to keep the costs as low as $12,000 for the year, which includes a $500 deposit upon admission (for the Upfront Plan), room and board, a substantial meal plan, staff costs, insurance, and gas money to reimburse students whose cars are used in the day-to-day, transportation of other students to and from class, as well as Renew Groups and Sunday church services. Upon admission, students will choose either:

  1. The Upfront Plan of $12,000 in one payment at the beginning of the school year, which includes the $500 deposit; or
  2. The Semester Plan, which is $13,000, which includes the $500 deposit and a payment of $6,250 at the beginning of each semester.

It is highly recommended that students live in residence to get the most out of their experience and to fully participate in community life with other students. However, we also offer a non-residence option for students wishing to live off-campus. Tuition for non-residence students is $6,000 for the year.

Upon acceptance, students will be asked to commit, in writing, to completing the financial responsibility laid out in their chosen payment option. The student is responsible for ensuring that their payments are remitted to the office on time.

Room & Board

Each student is required to live on campus. Students will be housed at a residential property in Mississauga, Ontario featuring modern and spacious facilities which include men’s and women’s sleeping areas, full baths, a full kitchen, common areas for living, lounging, dining and studying. All rules and policies for Residence living are specified, in detail, in the Student Handbook.

Meal Plan

GCBI North will stock the pantry and refrigerator at the residence with basic, healthy foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (such as fruit, vegetables, lunch meat, bread, soup, juice, milk, etc.). We do not provide snack or specialty foods (chips, junk food, or organic foods). Our kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, and dishwasher. All utensils, dishes, and cookware are provided. A list of groceries is available upon request. Please note that regular cleaning of the kitchen is the responsibility of the students and will be included on the list of chores.
